Hello, I’m so glad you’re here!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brittney Werth and I am a Professional Counselor licensed to practice in Idaho and Florida. Counseling is a vulnerable process and I am committed to navigating it with you free of shame or judgement because the work we will do together is BRAVE and COURAGEOUS! My research work has focused on women’s issues, postpartum, adoption-related issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and sexual abuse.
I offer counseling to individuals, families, couples and groups. I reserve a few spots in my practice for teletherapy as I recognize life can be busy. I believe the client-therapist relationship is one of the most important factors in the therapeutic process which is why I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we will be a good fit.
My approach is warm and honest. I used empirically based practices and continuously train in my areas of specialty. I view therapy as an art and tailor each session to meet your needs and style. I have worked with individuals and families from diverse cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I am LGBTQ affirming.
I am a wife and mother of two boys. I have loved living in both Idaho and Florida. In my spare time I love to exercise, hike, ski and spend quality time with my friends and family. I look forward to meeting you!
